📏 How to Measure Your Dog’s Neck

Use a soft measuring tape to measure around the thickest part of your pet’s neck where the collar sits. If you do not have a measuring tape, use a piece of string then measure the string with a ruler. If your dog has very thick fur or a bulky collar, add about ½–1 inch (1–2.5 cm) to your measurement to ensure an easy fit.  

Make sure the bandana opening (the slit for the collar to slide through) is wide enough for your collar’s thickness.

The bandana should slide over the collar easily and drape nicely in front without being tight or too loose.
